Jordan's Trade Surpasses 23 Billion dollar with Partner Countries, Strengthening Economic Ties
Trade between Jordan and partner countries reached a record-breaking $23 billion in 2022, with Arab nations accounting for over half of the total. Jordan has actively pursued free trade agreements, including the Greater Arab Free Trade Area, the US, the European Union, EFTA countries, and the Agadir agreement.
Within the Greater Arab Free Trade Zone, trade with Jordan amounted to $12.299 billion, followed by $4.880 billion with EU countries and $3.973 billion with the US. The Agadir countries saw trade worth $1.162 billion, while EFTA countries recorded $1.055 billion in trade with Jordan. These impressive figures highlight Jordan's commitment to expanding economic ties and benefiting from free trade opportunities.
